How to install TrollRestore?

To install TrolStore on iOS 17, you'll need a PC (Windows, macOS, or Linux). Before beginning the installation of TrollRestore for iOS 15-17, ensure you complete the following steps.

Turn off Find My iPhone. You can reactivate later
Download and install the latest version of Python 3 for your operating system.
Verify that your device is running a compatible iOS 15 - 17 build.
Make sure you install the latest version of iTunes.
Download a system app like "Tips" from the App Store.

Download TrollRestore

Download the file that matches your setup using the options below.

Windows：TrollRestore.exe
Linux：TrollRestore_Linux.zip
Intel Mac：TrollRestore_macOS_amd64.zip
Apple Silicon Mac：TrollRestore_macOS_arm64.zip

Windows Guide

Before continuing, make sure you fulfill the requirements mentioned above.

Step 1 Connect your mobile to the PC via USB.
Step 2 Open the TrollRestore.exe from your pc.
Step 3 Then you can see a terminal window asking for an app name. See the image below.

Step 4 Enter the Downloaded system app name and press enter.
Step 5 After that you can see the message and your device will reboot.

Step 6 Open the downloaded system app and install TrollStore.

Step 7 Then your device will resping.
Step 8 Now you can see the trollStore app and the app will install ldid.
Step 9 After the installation, go to the settings tab and click Install persistence Helper

Step 10 Then choose your system app from the list.
Step 11 Open your system app and you can see a persistence helper there.
Step 12 Turn Find My iPhone on.
Step 13 Press enter on your PC to exit.

All Done.

MacOS Guide

Step 1 Connect your mobile to the PC via USB.
Step 2 Open the Terminal and type this code. git clone https://github.com/JJTech0130/TrollRestore
Step 3 Then type cd TrollRestore
Step 4 Type below command to install the requirements. Wait for the finish pip install -r requirements.txt
Step 5 Then type python3 trollstore.py –udid And enter your UDID (You can find your UDID from ideviceinfo )
Step 6 Then the app will give you a prompt asking the app name. Enter the downloaded system app name and reboot your iPhone.
Step 7 Open your system app and tap install TrollStore.
Step 8 Open trollStore from your iPhone. All Done.

TrollStore vs. Palera1n - Which One is the Best?

TrollStore is only an IPA Sideload method, not a jailbreak method. But Palera1n is a full jailbreak solution that allows you to install sileo package manager.

TrollStore only supports iOS 15 to iOS 17. But palera1n supports every iOS version including the latest iOS 18.1 jailbreak. So, if you are an latest iOS 18 user, the palera1n tool is the best solution.
